CONTINENTAL, Ohio Multiple charges have been filed against a Continental motorcyclist whom authorities have accused of trying to hide from them while intoxicated.

Rodney Theobald, 36, was charged Friday with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, driving under suspension, failure to comply, failure to control, and stop sign and expired plates violations.

Continental police in northwestern Putnam County said he ran into a house on East Elm Street after leading them on a four-block pursuit that began on North 6th Street, and that he initially refused to come out. He was eventually taken into custody from a room on the second floor of the Elm Street house, police said.
