Holland teenager killed in Wood County crash

A Holland teenager was killed Sunday night in a two-vehicle crash on State Rt. 51 at Fostoria Road in Wood County's Lake Township.

Jacob P. Martin, 17, was pronounced dead at the scene, troopers with the Ohio Highway Patrol's Bowling Green post said.

Young Martin was southbound on Fostoria Road about 7:45 p.m. when he failed to stop at a stop sign and was hit by a car being driven west on Route 51 by Miguel Montoya, 28, of Toledo.

Mr. Montoya was taken to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center.
