UPPER SANDUSKY — A Fostoria man has been sentenced to 33 months in prison for breaking into a church in Upper Sandusky.

James J. Potter, 48, was found guilty of three counts of breaking and entering in Wyandot County Common Pleas Court. Judge Kathleen Aubry imposed the prison sentence.

Potter, who was arrested in May while leaving a church with Glenn Loy, 37, of Upper Sandusky, also is facing two counts of breaking and entering in Hancock County Common Pleas Court. Loy was sentenced in July by Judge Aubry to 11 months in prison for complicity to breaking and entering.
