Motorcyclist is indicted in crash that killed rider

A motorcyclist accused of driving recklessly and causing the death of his passenger when he crashed was indicted by a Lucas County grand jury yesterday on a charge of aggravated vehicular homicide.

Kurt Linsenmeyer, 39, of 4526 Rambo Lane faces up to five years in prison if convicted. He is charged with causing the accident that killed Tammy Guerrero, 33, of Maumee.

According to a report of the crash, Mr. Linsenmeyer was eastbound on Laskey Road about 9:30 p.m. July 15 and lost control of his motorcycle at Oak Glen Drive. Both riders were thrown from the vehicle. Mr. Linsenmeyer suffered a broken collar bone and ribs. Ms. Guerrero died from her injuries.
