Lucas County Arena set to open Saturday

Tim Rupp, an employee of the Toledo Walleye Hockey Club, sets out merchandise at one of the

shops in the Lucas County Arena in preparation for its grand opening.


The ribbon will be cut at noon Saturday, and the public will be allowed to view the 8,000-seat downtown facility until 4 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, when fans may watch the Walleye's training camp.
