Juveniles' arrests solve Monroe-area break-ins

MONROE — Three juveniles arrested during a break-in told authorities they were responsible for six other recent burglaries, the Monroe County Sheriff's Office said.

The juveniles were caught at about 1 a.m. Tuesday at MBM Wholesale, 1128 South Monroe St., by a deputy and his police service dog.

The deputy was responding to an alarm.

Two of the arrested youths were 13 and one was 16. One was released to his mother and two are held in the Monroe County Youth Center.
