Findlay slaying suspect arrested, held in Toledo

FINDLAY — A 26-year-old man was shot and killed during an incident reported as a burglary early Sunday and a suspect in his death was held in the Lucas County jail Sunday night.

A burglary with a person shot was reported about 4:45 a.m. at the Melrose Manor apartments at 2200 Jennifer Lane.

David A. Snyder, 26, of Findlay was pronounced dead at Blanchard Valley Hospital.

The suspect, Cornelius Patterson, 30, of Findlay was arrested in Toledo about 7 p.m. Sunday. He was being held in the Lucas County jail without bond on charges of obstructing justice pending a transfer to the Hancock County Justice Center, a Lucas County sheriff's deputy at the jail said.
