    As a marker to their ancestors' role in helping slaves escape is unveiled, members of the Harroun family applaud on the Flower Hospital campus in Sylvania Sunday.

    They are Tim Scovic, obscured; his mother, Janice Harroun Scovic of Sylvania, and her sister, Diane Huss of LaSalle, Mich., with Alan Sattler, the hospital president.
