Remains of boy, 16, found in Monroe County; 2 arrested

MONROE - The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a teenager whose body was found Saturday in a park in Ash Township, in the northeast part of the county, authorities said.

Joshua Miracle, 16, was pronounced dead in Ash Park in the village of Carleton shortly before 9 a.m.

Investigators obtained a description of a vehicle and two persons who reportedly were seen leaving the dead teen in the park. The vehicle was soon spotted and stopped and two persons were arrested. The body, which showed no signs of trauma, was taken to the Wayne County Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.
