4 arrested on warrants at Oregon checkpoint

Four people were arrested on outstanding warrants as a result of a sobriety checkpoint in Oregon.

Police said 1,127 vehicles were stopped at the checkpoint in the 2800 block of State Rt. 2 from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday.

Of those, 35 vehicles were diverted for further inspection, Oregon police Sgt. Ed Depinet said.

Additionally, three people were charged with driving under suspension, two were charged with driving without a valid license, and seven were cited for expired plates, Sergeant Depinet said.
