2 male suspects sought in heist of Subway shop

Toledo police are looking for two men who robbed a Lagrange Street Subway.

According to police, two men made off with money, an iPod, and an employee's purse from the Subway at 3336 Lagrange in the incident that occurred at 8 p.m. Friday.

The men were described by store employees as black males wearing hoods and hats, with their faces well covered. At least one showed a gun.

Employee Corey Smith, 18, said one robber grabbed his female co-worker because she was near the door and walked her to the cash register.

The man jumped over the counter and cleaned out the cash register, and the two suspects fled out the back door.
