Quadruplets are Toledo's first babies of 2010
1/1/2010Toledo's first baby of the year — make that babies — were born just minutes into 2010.
Lauren Hablitzel-Lake and Nick Lake welcomed quadruplets into their family at 12:17 a.m., 12:18 a.m., 12:19 a.m., and 12:20 a.m. Friday morning at Toledo Hospital.
The babies — three boys and a girl — are the first little ones of the new year in a Toledo area hospital.
James Houston is the oldest. He was followed by Isaiah Parker, Michaela Ann, and Dakota Perry.
The first Toledo babies of 2010 were born earlier in the new year than 2009's Ryleigh Addison, who was born at 4:37 a.m. Jan. 1, 2009, also in Toledo Hospital, to Dawanna Hintz and Adam Owens.
