Mohammud Adya, 14, of the Northwest Ohio Peace Coalition marches in protest of Israel's attack on the Gaza Strip a year ago.

More than 1,400 people died in the three-week assault. Israel launched the attack to end years of rocket fire from Gaza toward Israeli border towns and to punish the territory's militant rulers. The coalition said yesterday's march also sought to call attention to U.S. financial and military support to Israel. The march was at Sylvania Avenue and Talmadge Road.
