Yesterday's event at Caffeini's Coffee, 1471 Secor Rd., included music, poetry readings, and lectures. In addition to donations, Caffeini's contributed part of its proceeds to the Red Cross. Elsewhere, Prestige Restaurant, 3439 Hill Ave., says it will donate a portion of all proceeds from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today to the American Red Cross for Haitian relief.
