Public hearings slated on Toledo's budget plan
3/9/2010Toledo Councilman Tom Waniewski will hold a public hearing tonight to discuss the 2010 budget proposal and solicit input. Council must approve a balanced budget by March 31.
A meeting for Council District 5 will begin at 6 p.m. at Grove Patterson Academy, 3020 Marvin Ave. Council President Wilma Brown will host a District 1 meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday at Grace Church, 3700 Dorr St.
Councilman D. Michael Collins will host the District 2 meeting at 6 p.m. March 18 at Bowsher High School, 2200 Arlington Ave. Councilman Michael Ashford will host the District 4 meeting at 6 p.m. March 25 at Old West End Academy, 3131 Cambridge St.
