Toledo man, 18, gets 9 years for robbing Burger King

A Toledoan was sentenced to nine years in prison Tuesday for the armed robbery of a Burger King on Western Avenue.

Clarence Fuller, 18, of 3126 Warsaw St. was sentenced in Lucas County Common Pleas Court to six years each on four counts of aggravated robbery plus three years for a gun specification on each charge.

Judge Frederick McDonald ordered that the sentences be served concurrently to each other but consecutively to the gun specification.

Authorities said Fuller, his uncle, and his brother entered the restaurant Dec. 29 to rob it and those inside. Fuller had a gun during the robbery. Also charged is Fuller's uncle Demoris Bell, 28, of 2241 South Ave. and Fuller's brother Deonte Fuller, 17, who is to appear in Juvenile Court March 24 for a hearing to determine whether he will face the aggravated robbery charges as an adult. Bell is to return to court tomorrow.
