A Toledo woman was shot outside a central Toledo after-hours club early Thursday, authorities said.

Alisha Waskom, who is in her 20s, was treated at Mercy St. Vincent Hospital for gunshot wounds to her legs, Sgt. Kevin Korsog said.

Ms. Waskom was standing outside a club at Blum Street and Junction Avenue about 4 a.m. when she heard gun shots and then felt pain in her legs. She told police she did not see where the shots came from, Sergeant Korsog said.

The woman told police she was with a large party at the club when a disturbance occurred there so she left. She was shot soon after leaving the bar, the woman reported to police.

There were no suspects and no arrests in the case as of 8 a.m. Thursday, Sergeant Korsog said.
