Six northwest Ohio technology companies have been given a combined $237,000 in local grants to develop new products or to improve processes.
The Regional Growth Partnership Thursday announced it has given Rocket Ventures Ignite grants to:
AllinBioPlastics LLC is to receive $50,000. The company is a joint venture of The Andersons Inc., Laurel BioComposites LLC, and LingoTech USA. It produces bio-plastic enhancer products from ethanol plant byproducts.
AP Alternatives LLC is to receive $36,500. A spinoff of Alex Products Inc., the firm is development a racking system for solor moduels and equipment for utility-scale installations of solar arrays.
Mold Sentry LLC is to receive $33,000. It is developing an approach to deal with airborne pollutants in buildings that can cause sickness.
Beyond Gaming is to receive $37,500. It has an online portal to allow paying members to participate in stakes-based competitive games.
SynTerra Fuels LLC is to receive $50,000. It has developed a fuel from waste materials.
TransGlobal Container Corp. is to receive $33,000. It has developed a shipping container with deployable wheels for intermodel use.
