Two men killed in crash in Hancock County

FOREST, Ohio — Two men were killed early Sunday when their pickup crashed in Hancock County, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

Killed were Tommie Essinger, of Arlington, Ohio, and Dennis Anderson, of Findlay. The men, both 51, were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash that occurred about 3:30 a.m. in Delaware Township.

Troopers said the pickup went out of control on County Road 304 near County Road 17, overturned, and ejected both men.

Investigators were unable to determine who was driving the truck. The accident remains under investigation.
