Residential developer seeks Wood Co. zoning

5/3/2010

BOWLING GREEN — The Wood County Planning Commission is scheduled to consider a rezoning request for 62 acres in Middleton Township where a developer wants to build a single-family residential subdivision.

The planning commission, which meets at 5:30 p.m. tomorrow in the County Office Building in the courthouse complex, will review an application submitted by Louisville Title Agency of Northwest Ohio and Feller Finch & Associates to rezone land adjacent to the Hull Prairie Meadows subdivision from A-1 agricultural to R-3 residential. The property is on the east side of Hull Prairie Road north of Five Point Road.

The commission also is to review a new zoning resolution drafted for Grand Rapids Township. Changes include new minimum lot sizes and frontages, and language pertaining to transportation-for-hire businesses and shooting ranges.
