Crystal Bowersox may sing at Mud Hens' game next week
5/7/2010Crystal Bowersox, one of four finalists on American Idol, could be back in Toledo to sing The Star Spangled Banner at Friday's Mud Hens game — if she doesn't get voted out next week.
The 24-year-old singer from nearby Elliston, Ohio, has agreed to sing the national anthem before the Hens' game against the Indianapolis Indians
The game starts at 7 p.m. at Fifth Third Field, according to Scott Jeffer, the Hens' assistant general manager/marketing.
Limited seating and standing-room tickets are still available for the game, which also happens to be the first Fireworks Night of the season, Mr. Jeffer said.
