Ex-coach back in jail in Dundee teen-sex case

MONROE — The former girls basketball coach at Dundee Middle School who is accused of having a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old girl has been returned to jail.

Monroe County sheriff's deputies arrested Richard A. Neff on a warrant after he violated the terms of his release on $50,000 bond by not reporting to pretrial services so he could be monitored. First District Judge Jack Vitale ordered him back to the Monroe County jail.

Mr. Neff, 47, of Dundee is charged with two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and one count each of second degree criminal sexual conduct and accosting a minor for immoral purposes.

His court appearance is scheduled for Tuesday.
