2 indicted in Ottawa County for fighting, vandalism

PORT CLINTON — An Ottawa County grand jury indicted a Marblehead, Ohio, woman and a Rocky Ridge, Ohio, man for, among other charges, resisting arrest and damaging police cars, according to county prosecutor Mark Mulligan.

Jessica Norcross, 30, was a passenger in a vehicle stopped by Danberry Township police. When the driver was arrested, she allegedly attacked and threatened the officers. After she was arrested, she allegedly damaged the door and window of a police cruiser. She also was indicted on charges of intimidation and obstructing justice.

Lonnie J. Clere, 44, was under arrest by Elmore police for driving while intoxicated when he allegedly broke out the window of a police car and fled. He was recaptured and is held in the Ottawa County jail. He also faces a charge of failure to submit to a chemical test. A warrant has been issued for Ms. Norcross.
