DELPHOS, Ohio — Nineteen people have been indicted on 58 drug offenses, including trafficking in marijuana and heroin, in what authorities are calling the culmination of a drug-enforcement operation that began in the summer.
The indictments were handed up by grand juries in Allen and Van Wert counties because Delphos is in both jurisdictions.
Sixteen of the accused are in custody, Delphos police Chief Kyle Fittro said.
The West Central Ohio Crime Task Force, which includes officers from both counties, was involved in the investigations.
