The Toledo mayor's brother and two former TPS administrators are part of a field of eight semi-finalists to become the next superintendent of Toledo Public Schools.

Keith Bell, a high school principal in Westerville City Schools near Columbus and brother of Mayor Mike Bell, was chosen out of a pool of 16 presented to the Toledo Board of Education last night by a hired consultant.

The other semi-finalists come from several states, including Michigan, South Dakota, and New York.
