DELTA, Ohio — A Minnesota man was taken to the University of Toledo Medical Center after he lost control of his motorcycle Tuesday afternoon on the Ohio Turnpike, troopers at the Swanton post of the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

Roger Miller, 59, of Falcon Heights, Minn., was eastbound on the turnpike about 4:50 p.m. in Fulton County's Pike Township when his motorcycle drove off the south side of the road, spun around, and stopped in a ditch.

He was wearing a helmet.

A spokesman at the medical center, which is the former Medical College of Ohio Hospital, said there was no information about a patient by that name.
