Deonte Fuller, the last of three family members convicted in the armed robbery of the Burger King restaurant on Western Avenue, pleaded no contest Tuesday in Lucas County Common Pleas Court.

As part of the negotiated plea to four counts of aggravated robbery with gun specifications, the prosecutor's office will recommend that Fuller, 17, of 3126 Warsaw St., serve his four sentences concurrently for a maximum of 13 years.

He will be sentenced May 28 by Judge Stacy Cook.

The teen was found guilty of accompanying his brother Clarence Fuller, 18, also of Warsaw St., and his uncle, Demoris Bell, 28, of 2241 South Ave., during a Dec. 29 robbery.

Authorities said the three entered, one armed with a gun, and ordered the employees to hand over their money and cell phones. The restaurant safe was also ordered opened and its contents taken.

Bell, of 2241 South Ave., was sentenced March 18 to 10 years in prison. Clarence Fuller, who authorities said had a gun during the robbery, was sentenced March 16 to nine years.
