The three-hour "Brian Wilson and the Afternoon Drive" airs weekdays on WSPD 1370-AM and Mr. Wilson makes it sound like he is in the Glass City at the radio station's downtown studio.

"Lovely day in the neighborhood high atop the Maumee River," Mr. Wilson said on the air Monday.

Since arriving in the fall of 2005, Mr. Wilson has filled the dual role of WSPD program director and host of the 3 to 6 p.m. weekday talk show that follows Rush Limbaugh.

According to records from Bedford County, Va., Mr. Wilson and his wife, Carolanne Wilson, paid $340,000 for a home in Huddleston, Va. on Dec. 15, 2009.

The couple's home in Perrysburg, which Wood County records show the Wilsons still own, was emptied of furniture and a neighbor Tuesday said the couple moved out five or six weeks ago.

Andy Stuart, WSPD's vice president and market manager, refused to comment.

"Well I don't think we want to make any comment about that," Mr. Stuart said. "It's not really a story."

Richard Spurr, who lives next door to the Wilson's Virgina home, said Mr. Wilson attempted broadcasting the Toledo show out of the home but was unable.

"It's pretty rural here," Mr. Spurr said. "So now he broadcasts out of Lynchburg."

Mr. Spurr said he met the Wilsons and their golden retriever when they moved into the home.

But an employee at Clear Channel Communications in Lynchburg, which is home to 108 WYYD-FM and three other stations for the company, said Mr. Wilson was broadcasting from that location but he had not been there for about a month.

"He was here about two months ago and then was gone," said Jason Osborne, a sales assistant for Clear Channel.

Clear Channel has refused to make Mr. Wilson available for an interview.
