Threat for severe weather reduced

While today's hot and humid conditions are likely to produce scattered thunderstorms across northwest Ohio, the threat of severe weather has decreased, according to the National Weather Service in Cleveland.

There is a chance some thunderstorms could produce damaging winds, large hail or localized flooding Saturday.

Tara Hastings of WTOL, The Blade's media partner, forecasted muggy, cloudy conditions overnight with a low near 70.

Scattered thunderstorms were possible throughout the weekend, she added.
