Lake Twp. crash leaves 1 hospitalized

WALBRIDGE - A driver who is accused of rear-ending another car on southbound I-280 in Wood County's Lake Township late Sunday afternoon was in serious condition in Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center last night.

Gene A. Harrison, 67, of Lake Township was driving the car that hit the one in front of him, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol's Bowling Green post.

John P. Blevins, 60, the driver of the car that was hit, and Mr. Blevins' passenger, Crescent C. Blevins, 59, both of southeastern Wood County's Montgomery Township, near Wayne, were treated at Bay Park Community Hospital.

Southbound I-280 had only one lane open for about a half hour after the

5 p.m. crash.
