OAK HARBOR, Ohio — A Cincinnati motorcyclist was flown to the University of Toledo Medical Center with a head injury after a three-motorcycle crash Sunday morning on State Rt. 2 in Ottawa County.

The hospital, the former Medical College of Ohio, listed Christopher Vogt, 45, in good condition Monday morning following the accident in Carroll Township, about 5.5 miles north of Oak Harbor.

Two Cincinnati motorcyclists — Ronald Kramer, 71, and Kenneth Jacobs, 53 — were stopped on State Rt. 2, waiting to turn left onto State Rt. 19 at about 9:30 a.m., when Mr. Vogt's motorcycle struck Mr. Kramer's, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol's Sandusky Post.

Mr. Kramer's bike overturned and slid into Mr. Jacobs. Meanwhile, Mr. Vogt's motorcycle overturned, throwing him off, and both he and the bike slid off the road, according to the patrol.

Mr. Kramer suffered a scuffed leg, but did not immediately seek treatment.

Mr. Jacobs was not injured.

None of the men wore helmets.
