FREMONT — A Fremont man was sentenced Wednesday to six years in prison for robbing Howie's Tavern on Ohio Avenue at gunpoint in 2007.

Jeremy Homler, 32, pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery shortly after a jury was seated in Sandusky County Common Pleas Court to hear his case.

Judge John Dewey then sentenced him to prison and ordered that the sentence be served at the same time as a four-year prison term he is serving for a robbery in Seneca County. The judge also dismissed charges of robbery and intimidation of a witness.

Tianna White, formerly of Bellevue, Ohio, earlier pleaded guilty to complicity to aggravated robbery in the incident and was sentenced to four years for driving the getaway car.
