Troopers seek pickup in fatal turnpike crash
6/24/2010MILAN, Ohio — State troopers need help locating a pickup involved in a fatal crash in Erie County on the Ohio Turnpike Sunday.
The pickup, which was pulling a trailer, was westbound about 11:55 a.m. when the trailer lost a tire and the tire bounced over the median wall and hit an eastbound car, killing the driver, Douglas Wise, 51, of Grove City, Ohio.
A photo of the pickup was taken as the vehicle left the toll booth at the U.S. 250-Sandusky exit. The photo is posted at state pat rol.o hi o.gov.
