Monroe man arrested, charged in bank robbery

MONROE — A Monroe man was arrested Thursday night and accused of robbing the Flag Star Bank in Frenchtown Township, authorities said.

Joseph Neville, 27, was arrested without incident about 8:30 p.m. in Dearborn, Mich. He was charged with bank robbery and booked into the Monroe County jail, according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.

The bank at 2203 North Telegraph Rd, was robbed Monday of an undisclosed amount of cash, deputies said.

Sheriff deputies did not say what led them to Dearborn, citing an ongoing investigation.
