FINDLAY — A man and his three young children were hurt when his pickup truck went off the road on County Road 18 in Hancock County's Cass Township north of Findlay Sunday evening, authorities said.
Injured were Jason B. Edwards, 31, Tyler M. Edwards, 9, Gabriella L. Edwards, 4, and Jaccob B. Edwards, all of Fostoria. The family was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital, Hancock County Sheriff's deputies said. There is no information on their conditions, a hospital spokesman said.
Mr. Edwards was southbound on County Road 18 approaching County Road 236 about 7:45 p.m. when he lost control of his pickup. He went off the right side of the road and struck a mailbox before over-correcting, going off the left side of the road and striking a ditch and utility pole.
The pickup rotated and overturned, throwing Mr. Edwards and 9-year-old Tyler from the vehicle before the vehicle came to rest on its wheels.
