Local volunteer organization Toledo Free Ride is asking for help Saturday to build a mountain bike trail and bicycle park at Jermain Park and Jermain Meadow Park.

Volunteers should meet at the Jermain Park parking lot on Upton Avenue near the tennis courts at 9:45 a.m. Saturday. The event will last from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., and volunteers are welcome to join at any time.

The trail design offers a single-track, off-road bicycle course that will be about 2 1/2 to 3 miles long with scenic views of the Ottawa River.
