Tiffin man injured in crash

TIFFIN — A Tiffin man was injured when his car struck a sign and four parked cars in a driveway just east of Tiffin Monday.

Austin Chapman, 19, was in serious condition Tuesday at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, where he was taken by air ambulance.

According to the Ohio Highway Patrol, Mr. Chapman was eastbound on Seneca County Road 50 about a mile east of Clinton Township Road 159 about 9:20 a.m. when he went off the right side of the road, struck a sign, and the parked cars. He was cited for operating a vehicle without reasonable control.
