Conservative radio host's foreclosed home set for sheriff's sale

A Perrysburg condominium owned by Toledo news radio talk-show host Brian Wilson was foreclosed on earlier this year and is scheduled for sheriff's sale Sept. 16.

Chase Home Finance, LLC, foreclosed on the Wilsons' three-bedroom home at 3334 Rivers Edge in May. Court documents show Wilson and his wife, Carol, owe $197,832 on the property but stopped making their mortgage payments last December — the same month they purchased a $340,000 home in Huddleston, Va.

Wilson said Friday that he expects the property to be sold prior to the sheriff's sale in Wood County.

"The sale of the house has been a long complicated process but is to be consummated — not foreclosed — by the end of the week," Wilson said in an e-mail to The Blade.

Wilson's three-hour Brian Wilson and the Afternoon Drive airs weekdays on WSPD 1370-AM, although Wilson broadcasts from Virginia.

He told listeners in May that he was forced to leave the Toledo area because "something in the air" was making him ill.
