Gay Pride Day features downtown march, rally

Organizers of Saturday's Toledo Gay Pride Day say they are hoping for greater acceptance of the community's gay and transsexual citizens and more recognition by the local media.

Toledo Gay Pride Day features an AIDS march that starts at 9 a.m. in International Park, a march and rally at Government Center at noon, and a carnival from 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the Erie Street Market.
