Pedestrian hit, killed identified as Mich. man

MILAN, Ohio — Authorities have released the name of a man who was struck and killed by a tractor-trailer rig on U.S. 250 near Milan while walking across the roadway.

Miguel Flores Perez, 45, of Fennville, Mich., was pronounced dead at the scene of the Thursday crash.

Mr. Perez was temporarily living at the Motel 6 in Avery, Ohio, while working in near Milan, according to troopers at the Ohio Highway Patrol's Sandusky post.
