EDGERTON, Ohio - Two drivers traveling on U.S. 6 west of Williams County Road 2.5 were injured when their cars collided head on about 12:35 a.m. Saturday.

State troopers at the Defiance post of the Ohio Highway Patrol said Billie Downs, 25, of Edgerton was westbound on U.S. 6 in Williams County when her auto went left of center.

An eastbound pickup and a tractor-trailer took evasive action, troopers said, and Ms. Downs' car collided with a third eastbound vehicle, a car driven by Keith Curry, 21, of Fayette, Ohio.

Ms. Downs and Mr. Curry were taken by medical helicopter to Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind., where they were listed in critical condition Saturday night.
