Biden schedules visit to Toledo for Labor Day
9/1/2010Vice President Joe Biden is returning to Toledo Monday.
Mr. Biden is scheduled to be in the city for Labor Day, White House officials said Tuesday. Details of his visit and whether he will participate in the Labor Day parade have not been released.
The vice president toured the Jeep Wrangler assembly plant Aug. 23 and made a speech on the auto industry's comeback. The federal government made loans to keep General Motors Corp. and Chrysler Group LLC afloat after the 2008 financial crisis.
