Clyde hires firefighter, banker as police chief

CLYDE, Ohio — Craig R. Davis of Clyde has been hired as police chief for the city.

Mr. Davis, a fourth-generation firefighter, has a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Tiffin and is employed by the Croghan Colonial Bank.

He replaces former Fire Chief Paul Fiser, who became city manager Aug. 29 with the retirement of Dan Weaver.
