Bike run to benefit motorcyclist paralyzed in shooting by officer

9/10/2010

A group of business owners that has been raising money to build a custom, three-wheeled motorcycle for Mike McCloskey, who was shot and paralyzed by an Ottawa Hills police officer last year, is holding the "Trike for Mike Poker Run" Sunday.

Registration begins at 11 a.m. at Chuck's on Monroe, 4477 Monroe St., where riders will receive a playing card.

The route will stop at a number of local bars where each rider will receive more cards before winding up back at Chuck's.

The participant who has the best poker hand at the end of the day will win a prize.
