Serious injury accident reported in Jerusalem Township

Rescuers responded to a report of a car striking a utility pole about 1:50 p.m. Thursday on Corduroy near Howard roads in eastern Jerusalem Township, an Oregon dispatcher said.

The unknown victim or victims were being extricated from the vehicle, with a helicopter en route to transfer to an area hospital.
