BOWLING GREEN — A jury in Wood County Common Pleas Court has returned guilty verdicts against a Toledo man charged with complicity to insurance fraud.

Christopher Davis, 34, was convicted Tuesday of complicity to insurance fraud, complicity to theft, and engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity. He is to be sentenced at 2 p.m. Nov. 5, at which time Judge Alan Mayberry plans to hold a restitution hearing.

About six weeks earlier, co-defendant Dr. Stacey Royal, 45, of McMurray, Pa., pleaded guilty to four counts each of insurance fraud and theft, two counts of telecommunications fraud, and one count of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity stemming from improper billing from the former Royal Treatment Urgent Care in Perrysburg.
