A 20-year-old Toledo man who went on a one-week crime spree in early March that began with aggravated robbery and ended in the sexual assault of a woman was convicted Monday on eight felonies in Lucas County Common Pleas Court.

Delexis Maloy pleaded no contest to one count each of rape, kidnapping, and aggravated burglary, three counts of aggravated robbery, and two counts of robbery.

Judge Gene Zmuda accepted the pleas from Maloy during a hearing.

Maloy, who hid in the backseat of vehicles in some of the crimes, faces up to 82 years in prison at his sentencing on Oct. 29.

As part of the plea agreement, prosecutors said seven additional charges against Maloy will be dismissed at sentencing.
