About a dozen hourly and salaried employees at GM's Defiance plant were disciplined Thursday for inappropriate computer use, company spokesman Kim Carpenter said Friday.

Most of the workers were fired, she said. The employees reportedly used GM computers to access “content that was inappropriate for the workplace.”

Ms. Carpenter said another employee reported the workers' conduct and GM took “clear and decisive action” after an internal investigation.
