Toledo police Sunday were investigating four apparently unrelated incidents in which four people were shot in the city the night before.

None of the victims' injuries appeared to be life-threatening, according to Toledo police Sgt. Paul Hickey.

The first occurred at 10:42 p.m. Saturday in the 2400 block of Parkwood Avenue, where Don Parks, Jr., was shot after an apparent robbery attempt.

Three other shootings reportedly occurred between 3:40 a.m. and 3:45 a.m. Perry Warren was walking near Lincoln and Forest avenues when a car pulled up and one of the occupants fired shots at him, Sergeant Hickey said.

Britton Norwood was shot outside the Lux adult entertainment club at 707 Matzinger Rd. He was treated and released at Toledo Hospital.

Mario Purifie was shot during an attempted robbery in the 2200 block of Academy Avenue.

“We're not linking them together at this point,” Sergeant Hickey said. “Unless something else pops up, they appear to be separate incidents.”

No arrests had been made Sunday.
