Woman found dead in Findlay street

FINDLAY — Police are investigating the death of a woman in what investigators believe was a hit and run early Sunday morning.

Findlay police were called to the 300 block of Center Street northeast of downtown about 2:20 a.m. on the report of a person lying in the street. The victim was declared dead at the scene.

Her identity was not released Sunday. Sgt. Robert Ring said it appears she was struck while walking along the street.
